Which level should I choose?

LITE if you letter, sew ready-made designs, and auto-digitize logos and touch them up. P+ if you want to perfect every logo yourself, with the finer node, stitch and colour tools. PRO if you digitise for a living.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. P+ and PRO are launching soon; once they are here you can upgrade any time, with the same licence key and nothing to reinstall. Put your name down now for the early-bird price.

Are updates included?

Yes — every update to the version you buy (EMTAC Digitising 1) is included and delivered straight into the app. When a new major version comes out, upgrading is optional and costs about a third of the price of your level; if you bought within 60 days before it came out, it is free.

Can you add a feature I need?

Yes — we are open to suggestions: send yours straight from the app (24/7 Live Support › I have an idea) and we read every one. For something only your business needs, we build custom features at an affordable rate.

Will my designs open at every level?

Yes. A design made in PRO opens and sews exactly as it was made, in LITE and P+ too.

Is the support really included?

Yes. 24/7 Live Support is inside the app for every licence: ask any time, send a picture of your screen, and we reply within 24 hours.

Does it run on a Mac?

Not at this stage. EMTAC Digitising runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit).

How many computers can I use it on?

One computer at a time, with no dongle. Changing computers? Move your licence yourself from Help › Licences › Your licence key — up to 3 times in 12 months — and type the same key on the new one.

Which machines does it work with?

Every machine that reads one of the 24 file kinds the app saves — Brother / Babylock, Tajima, Happy, ZSK, Barudan, Melco, SWF, Juki, SunStar, Singer, Toyota, Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff and Janome. See the list.

Windows says “Windows protected your PC” when I install it — what do I do?

This is normal for new software.

Check the publisher shows EMBROIDERY TACTICS (PTY) LTD — that is us.
Click Run anyway.

Why: our installer is signed with our verified company certificate. Because the certificate is new, Windows shows this message for the first couple of weeks only.

Are you buying through one of our agents?

Our agents sell EMTAC Digitising to their own clients and invoice them directly. Your licence is issued in your name and e-mailed to you, with the download link and 24/7 Live Support — exactly as if you had bought it here. Your agent has no access to your licence, your licence key or your support messages.

How do I become an agent?

Read about the Agent Program on our Agents page, and apply online at hub.emtacdigitising.com/agent/apply. A decision on an application is final.
